The late night arrival of an ambulance and doctors at the Bani Gala residence of imprisoned former Prime Minister Imran Khan, where his wife Bushra Bibi is imprisoned, sparked panic.
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has repeatedly claimed that Bushra Bibi, the former First Lady, was poisoned while under house arrest.
Soon after the ambulance and doctors arrived at Bani Gala, PTI lawyer Naeem Panjutha and others from Khan’s party reached the spot and tried to get news of the condition Bushra Bibi health center, but the ambulance sped away.
On Saturday, Bushra Bibi’s lawyer, Intazar Hussain Panjutha, stated that she had been unable to speak due to deteriorating health caused by poisoning.
Panjutha and others of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf recently expressed fears to the media that Bushra Bibi had been poisoned. Today, her medical reports confirmed that she had been poisoned. He said Bushra Bibi was given Harpic toilet cleaner in food and it damaged her digestive system.
Bushra Bibi wasn’t feeling well when he brought her to the hospital today.
He said she was suffering from chest pains and doctors believed she had a heart problem. When Bushra Bibi was in prison, she was perfectly fine. However, now she experiences an ulcer in her stomach and digestive tract.
As the point person for jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan, Panjutha should ensure that Bushra Bibi receives poison-free food. He said that Bushra Bibi couldn’t talk anymore because someone poisoned her.
