MUZAFFARGARH – A man killed his wife & seven children for unknown reasons in Alipur tehsil of Muzaffargarh, a town in Pakistan’s Punjab province, it was reported on Thursday.
Police said the suspect used a sharp weapon to kill the eight people, adding that the man was arrested.
Officials revealed that the ages of the children killed by their father are between 6 months & 8 years old.
The police have opened an investigation to determine the reasons for this brutal incident which sent shock waves across the country.
Reports of the gruesome killings come as Eid-ul-Fitr is celebrated with religious fervor across the country.
